Hi Guys

I have generate a T-Code thru SQVI (DEV 200) and would like to transport it over to QAS.

I have generated out the Transportation number in DEV, but i went to the QAS to do STMS. I could not find my Transportation Number.

Why isit so and how do I resolve this problem?

Pls advise.

Hi,

Try This method to transport the Query :-

Generate a program for the query.. Assigna a package to that query.

go in se93 create the t-code and give ur program name in that and after that transport that request .... if query is create in QAS client then no problm it will give you error but activate that .

Prakash

Hi Guys

This are my steps

1) I created my report in SQVI (QAS), and executed.

2) I copied the Programme Name (AQFKSYSTQV000005CUSTOMER======).

3) Go to SE93 in DEV, key in my Transaction Code as ZDN00 & Package as ZSD andShort Text as AQFKSYSTQV000005CUSTOMER====== & Select 2nd Radio button.

4) Save it.

5) I created my own requests.

6) Go to SE10 (DEV) to release the bottom first, followed by the 2nd one.

But somehow I cannot find my transportation number in QAS.

But I went to SE03 to take a look. I can see my request number under Workbench Request.

Every time I did my transportation.. it ok.. but this is the first time I creating my own T-Code.

Pls advise

Reports are not created in Q, they are created in D.

And in some cases they are written in P:

Hi

Try to check the queue where your request is by trx SE09/SE10, if you can't see it in queue QAS, it means the trasport was not appended to it, but u can try to do it by STMS, but before doing it it's better to find out the queue of your reuqest.

Hi

That's ok, but in which queue your request is placed?

In SE10 trx u can see the queue, can u say us what you see?

U've written DEV?

That means in SE10 under node DEV u see your request?

Hi Rainer

Don't think STMS can do in DEV only

As previously I also do the changes in DEV and STMS in QAS.

Thanks for replying

And thats may be the problem you're getting.

Report in Q, Transaction in D, STMS in Qand D or somewhere else....

Please, if you do not have a glue what to do where, first take an education.

Hi

Please run SE10 in your DEV system, u see a layout arranged as TREE:

MANDT
     QUEUE "<--- I need to know the name of the queue
            MODIFIABLE
                   <request>
                   ................
             RELEASED
                    <requets>

.

That I want to know is in which queue you can see your request, if you can't see in QAS queue it means the system placed your request in another queue, perhasp in a LOCAL queue.

Can u give this information?

Max
