When a program is created and need to be transported to production server, does selection texts always go with it? If not how do you make sure? Can you change the CTS entries? How do you do it?

Muthu

Selection Text, Text Symbols and Messages goes with.
But if any text is created in SO10 that needs to be explicitly transported.

Hi,
Yes it is also necessary to move the same in the request or else in your selection screen you may not find this.
And also you can move the selection text even after you move the code to Prd but the best practise is to move in one shot.
Hope thishelps.

If you are creating the program for the first time , i,e new report
then the texts will also be transported in the same request.
If you are changing the existing program text then it will ask for new request.

No, Selection text will not be automatically included in request. Go to Selection text / text element screen in change mode and try to save it, it will ask you for a chnage request no. When you create any text element / Change selection text it should automatically ask you for chnage request.

Hi,
When a new program is created all texts are transported automatically. However, when changes are made afterward in a new transport request, the texts need to be added to the TR.

Initially when U create a program and declare selection texts , they go along in one request.
If you have missed declaring selection texts , you need to create a transport request and transport it
again ..
