Hi,
are you sure that you missed the Text elements.i don't think that. since by default all the elements under report will be attached to request. make sure all the components are in Active state.
check your Text elements are in Active state.

When you transport the program first time, the object directory is R3TR PROG. This entry includes all the text symbols associated with the program. If you make a change in program, it will create a version with object entry LIMU REPS. If you make a change in text symbols, it will create an object entry with LIMU REPT.
So first time you dont have to transport text symbols separately.
for transport text use report.

If you look at the contents of the tr. request, if it has a entry with REPT with the program name , then the text elements with get transported. Else, you can add a manual entry to the tr. request.
By default if you are tranporting your program with R3TR PROG, then everything pertaining to the program will get transported.

Hi,
Here is what I do, I check first in SE09 my DEVK to see if source texts are included or not. If not, I just go to my program, go to text elements, modify some part of your text elements and save it. Then it will generate a request. Include it in your existing DEVK(same program). And check it now again in SE09. IF source text is included, then you can now transport it to QAS.
Hope this helps...
P.S. Please award points for useful answers.

hi,
When you create a new program, then text elements of that program gets attached with the same transport request as of the program. In that case, there is no need to explicitly create transport request for text elements.
But make sure that text elements are active or not.
If you are copying existing program to a new program, then we have to explicitly assign text elements to the transport request. We can do this by changing a text element and revert it back again. Then it asks for a transport request. Now, you can give the same transport request of the program forthe text elements also. Active the text elements.
To make sure whether text elements got attached to the transport request ornot, go to SE10 -> Request No -> See whether there is a node with Program Texts under your transport request. If it is not there, text elements are not there under that request.

Hi Venket,
when i am transporting a program the text elements will transported or not?
The Text Elements will be transported with ur program if u have assign the same request as that of program.
If so then whenever u transport the program the text elements will also be transported.
If the text elements will not transport along with the program, what should i do to transport text elements?
If this is the case check wather the text elements are activated and assign a request to them (Same a s Program / Differnt) Now transport this request.
Hope this 1 helps.

Hi,
u can use the program RSTXTRAN.
You just have to give the name of the TR
the name of the text which you have created
and execute the program. It'll attach your text
to the transport
