Hi Guys,
I have saved a custom table 'TABLE A' with custom data element and domain in a transport request 'REQ A'.
Now I was asked to change the name of the custom table. I just took a copy of the existing table with new name 'TABLE B' and saved in different transport request 'REQ B'. Now How to transfer the custom data element and domain from 'REQ A' to 'REQ B'.
Because I am not going to transport the custom table 'TABLE A'.
Correct me if I am wrong,
I am planning to delete the 'TABLE A' from REQ A and move REQ A and REQ B to Quality & Production. OR
Delete 'TABLE A' from 'REQ A' and save the 'TABLE B' to "REQ A' instead of having new request 'REQ B'.
Is the above approach correct in SAP ECC environment? If not can anybody give me the right solution.
Regards,
Anand

Hi
You have several options to do that and one of these is your solution:
A) To delete the Table A from request A and then to trasport both requests (A and B)
But
B) you can also delete the Table A from requeste A and insert the request A into the request B (or request B into A, it's the same), so you'll have only one request (A or B), and transport it

Hi Anand,
FIrstly delete the transport request that is tied to table A and also custom data element and Domain.
Now go to transaction code SE03, now follow this menu
Transport Organizer Tool --> objects in Request --> Include objects in Transport Request.(double click)
Enter your package name that is assigned to custom data elements and domain and "execute".
Identify your custom domain and data element, select data element, and click In request icon on tool bar. Assign to the object to preferred tranaport number.
I hope above information will help you to close the thread.

You can delete the table A from REQ A and transport that first (as it has data elements and domain). Then you can move REQ B

Hi Anand,
First u have to delete REQ A.
Now go to transaction code SE03, now follow this menu
Transport Organizer Tool --> objects in Request --> Include objects in Transport Request.(double click)
Enter your package name that is assigned to custom data elements and domain and "execute".
Eg:
R3TR TABL --> Table name (Press F8).Add in your New Req B.
R3TR DTEL --> Data element(Press F8).Add in your New Req B.
Identify your custom domain and data element, select data element, and click In request icon on tool bar. Assign to the object to preferred tranaport number.
I hope above information will help you to close the thr.

Remove 'TABLE A' from 'REQ A'.
Transport in this seq
1. 'REQ A'. having data element and domain
2.'REQ B'.
