transport request

Hi Experts,

I am facing problem with transport request. I modified an include program in a report in development server. While saving,im creating new request for it. But the updated request is not modifing particular include program in Quality server. what are steps to apply this changes?

Please provide me suggestions for this problem.

check whether the request is transported properly.

If so the changes should trigger in QAS.

Hi,

In your quality server go to TCODE STMS. Press F5. and double click on your quality server.

Released transport request must be present in the queue .

Check the import status if this is imported correctly in the quality system

Once it is transported to Quality,

and u r changing and creating a new request,

there will be two request numbers...

Hi Bharat,

if your request is moved to the Quality server how you go'g to change the same request in development server.

if the reqeuset is once released we can't do any thing.

So you have to create the new request in the Development server and move to Quality server,

After transporting the transport request, check the status for Transport request.

Check it should be successfully transported or not.

Syntax check for the request and extended program check for include program.

Hi,

Check the following steps.

1) check the include program is in active state or not.

2) In se09 check what is the log of the transport request.

3) check both in dev and quality what is the transport version for the include by following the path utilities->version ->Version management

Finally please check with your basis guy on this

can you tranfer the request number to quality.so,we need to transport the same.

That is the main thing the changes are not coming in the quality server.

Request number is not transported to quality server,so changes are not coming in the quality server ,check the version management of particular program the request is transported r not.

Thanks to all for the providing me solutions.

My problem got solved. I saved include program with another request no and then i saved main progam with another request no. Im transporting main porgram request no. so it is not updating include program.

Then i transported include program request,it is got updated.
