Transport question

I changed the abap report source code and click save, it asked me the transport and I click enter also.

now I want to change the transport number of that program, how can I do so?

why do you want to change the transport no ? FYI ...Transport No's are generated automatically in sequence.

Because I thought it is the same transport as the previous transport which created by me? anyway I check it now to see. Thanks!

Yes it actually is my previous transport I want to change also the description also. How can I do that, Thanks

Go to transaction SE09. Here you can manipulate your changeable requests as you like.

okay , you need to reterive to the pervious version , then go to se10 under expand the task under which you will get that program name place the cursor on it abd click on delete button . Then go to th eprogram make the necessary changes and save it again in a new request.

if u didn't released the request then u can delete the request and create new one to the report (after deleting the request just go to the report, text elements, tcode and go to change mode and do save it will ask u the request.

While creating itself u can give the description as per the requirement( if u already created the request without meaningful description, just double click the description of which u want to change in that go to change mode and edit the description.

Friend before posting any question just have a look in forum itself, there are lot of thread which could solve our need, without waiting for others post.

2) find your trasnport

3) double click on it, change the tab (first one), then change transport's name
