transport object

hi to all,

in real time if i want to transfer,how can i transfer the object from dev phase to testing phase.pls provide me in detail with all steps.

Hi

You have to assign a Dev class/package while creating an object and create a Transport request.

Release this request and transport to Quality server using STMS

Basis people will do the transport.

Hello,

1. Save your abap program/object in a Transport SE09 / SE10 ( If object is saved in Local object, change the object directory entries use program RSWBO052; assign appropriate development class / package)

2. Activate your abap program/object

3. Release the Transport task then release the transport(2 tree levels in SE10)[Select the tree node and click on the TRUCK icon button]

4. Request your Basis team to run Tcode STMS and import the transport to the target system.

yah i got it yaar.but i've little confussion tht how many reaquests will be there.if i want

to trasport the object, which kind of request i need to give.pls help me.i want as in real time

1. Customizing

2. Workbench

hi Loknandhan,

You will find all your transporting requests in SE09/SE10 transaction and transporting the request will normally be done by your basis person.
