Transport for ABAP Program

Hello,

Can anyone tell me how I can create a transport for and ABAP Program. It is currently in DEV but needs to go to test.

Just try to assign some package, it will ask you to create the request..

if already assigned one, then change the code, and try to save/activate it will ask you the request..

if the prog is $tmp then change the directory to some package it will ask the request..

If you assigned it to a development class, it raised a transport when you first saved it. If you go to version management, you'll see the transport.

I think you must have created this object as a Local Object. You need to do 2 things here :

Reassign the Development Class to a Z Dev Class.

Use trx code SE38. On the first screen, specify the program name & click on Goto-->Object Directory Entry.

You will get a popup here, change the Dev Class to whatever you have on your side, this will prompt you for a Workbench Transport request. Follow up with Basis to get it to Test.

If you saved it as a local object, you can assign it to a development class by go to->object directory entry.

thank you all for your help...I was able to to the the "object directory entry" tab and change the dev class. I was then prompted to create a transport.
