Translation of selection screen

I am translation a selection screen from english to spanish. The selection text is 'Sold to Customer Number'. When I try to translate to Spanish, the translation gets chopped. Is there a limit on how many characters can be displayed on the selection screen. Or does the translation have to be atmost the character size of the original english version?

U can show upto 30 characters ...

It only shows 24 characters.

The original english text has 24 characters.

Try to type in manually in translation ...

No. Not necessary has to be the same length..

You have to change the Length(mLen) column value, press ENTER and translate.

this is a selection text, I cannot set the maximum length. You can do that for a text symbol.

Leave some extra characters in your text symbols and selection texts.
