Translation issue in table

Hi Experts,

I have a char40 field in one of our tables that is filled using a hard coded string literal through a program. For some reason, this value (in English) has got translated into German for some entries, not all. Any clues as to why and how this could happen?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Which version are you working in could be a unicode issue...

Did you check if the logon language was english or german in case of those entries?
