hi

SE32 is for ABAP Text Element maintanence. This is the same as SE38-Goto-Text Elements. In addition to this ,we have mod analysis tool in this transaction. Using this,we can analyse if SAP Support pack has been applied to the this program at the text element level.

Thanks

Hi,

SE32 is a transaction used for maintenance of text elements.

It can be used to display text elements in any program or class ( Display button ) and also allows changing text elements ( Change button)

Coming to the analysis button, it has 3 options presented in a new screen with an edit button.

  1) text elements that can be deleted ( A tick mark appears nearby if there are any text elements that are defined in the program / class but not used )

  2) Text elements that need to be added to text pool ( A tick mark appears if there is text without a text element created for it).

   3) Text symbols defined repeatedly / differently in other programs ( Here , tick appears if the text element already exists i.e duplication in the same program / class )

Selecting one of the radio buttons and clicking on Edit will lead to the list of all text elements matching the criteria.

Thanks and Regards,
Sasti
