can we use ME21N transaction, and XK01 transaction, either which one of the transaction, or could we use both the transactions for creating purchase information.

ME21N is used to create Purchase Orders.

XK01 is used to create Vendors.

Using xk01 transaction you can create different vendors for each pruchase organization of that company individual

Me21N is a new transaction (Enjoy SAP) in which several purchase order types are included in a single transaction.

Earlier to ME21N , we had to use different transactions for different order types .

1. ME21 - For Satndard POs.

2. ME27 - For Stock Transport Orders. etc.

Now all these are included in sigle TCODE ME21N.
