Transaction Variant not working

Hi,

I just created a screen variant for transaction MIRO and tested it successfully. Works as expected. Now, I created a transaction variant and assigned this screen variant. When I test the transaction variant, its showing me standard MIRO screen.

When I test the screen variant, seems to work perfectly. But transaction variant is not picking up this layout.

Please help.

just check is there ne problem with check box for Cross client (while creating tcode with se93 ).

Hi,

Look at the below link

You need to give the Z transaction code for the transaction variants, and select the appropriate checkboxes then Save and activate it,

I do not want to make ZMIRO standard for all users, so don't want it to replace MIRO.

The issue is - screen variant test works perfectly,

But the transaction variant is not using the screen variant layout at all. its defaulting to MIRO transaction even when testing the transaction variant from SHD0.

Please help.
