Hi,

You havent specified when did you completed your graduation. becuase, for modules like SD,MM,PP and FICO, we should have some (min of 4 to 5 years of) domain experience. if you have any previous sales experience, then your direction is right.

For the people like you (with Btech qualification, i will suggest CRM (As you have shoosen functional stream). Because SAP crm is just booming and will be excellent in comming 1 or 2 years. because till now customers who have Implemented SAP, are depending on 3rd party CRM system (Seibal etc...) due to some SAP crm issues in previous version. As of now SAP CRM is on full swing and free of all the issues, all customers are migrating to SAP CRM.

There is another reason for migrating to SAP crm. Customer is not requried to go for any third party tools to connect SAP R/3 and CRM systems. SAP itself providing adapters and other integration applications (XI) for this purpose and is going to provide complete full cycle support for the customers.

There is another reason for prefiring you to learn SAP CRM. currently there are very less people in the market who have learned CRM. If you work hard and become master in SAP CRM, then it will not be necessary to have domain experience.

hope this information helps you.

regards,

sundaramj

Hi Saurav,

As per your qualification I think SAP (or any ERP for a matter) would be nice option.

Anyway check out the link for SAP SD module. Familiarize yourself with SAP world.

Thanks for ur suggestions.

I have 1.3 years of experience in a manufacturing concern as a Quality Control officer before my MBA.

Currently Iam working as a Territory-In -Charge in Marketing for a manufacturing concern in Bangalore. I passed out MBA in 2006-May.

So, I would like to know whether this SAP requirements will be there in the near future or it will just get slowed down with the time.

Again thanking you for your guide.
