HI All,
I'm familiar how to assign a text title to a parameter, however, I'm having small problem doing for a select option. I defined a select-options as s_name. On the screen, it says s_name. I'd like for it just to say "Name:". Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Meezy

I'm familiar with that. however, I'm speaking about a select-option that I defined in a program that I wrote. I can only get the name of the variable to display and not a description.
Thanks.

Meezy,
looks to me that Venkats answer is the only correct one...Where did you define the select option, on the select screen? If so, Venkat is right, if not, tell more about this select option in the program you wrote.

Hi,
Venkat was correct the first time.
My apologies.

HI,
This is similar to what you do for parameters.
On menu bar click on GOTO>TEXT Elements>Selection texts.
In that give the description for s_name and save & activate.

Satya.

Hi
u can give the text in selection text...
in menu bar...
GOTO---TEXT ELEMENTS-SELECTION TEXT.
in this u can give the text which u want to be displayed instead of so_xyz.
