Time Verification and Settings

Dear Experts,

I am having a problem with PM Work Order/Notification Time settings.

In the SAP system which Iu2019m using there are two times: System Time and the Time Zone Time which are different from each other.

When I create a Notification/Order the system takes the Time Zone Time (for creation Date / Time).

Also for all the Malfunction Start/End Times it checks the validity against the Time Zone Time.

Say if the Time Zone Time is 06:00:00 and System Time is 09:00:00 then

The Notification/Order Creation Time is taken as 06:00:00

If Malfunction Start/End is given as 07:00:00 it fires an error message - "Downtime entered is in the future". I'm not using any User exits for verification they are default verifications.

My question is how to change these default time verification settings u2026

Regards,

Thushantha.

HI

You can pass that time as SY-TABLO (system time) if you are passing time instead of SY-UZEIT.

Subject: Re: Time Verification Settings

Message: hi

in the user profile there is a option to set the user time zone, DO NOT specify anything there hence system will take the system time only .

kindly check that
