Text Elements - Defined Length

Hi All,

I would ike ot know how to increase the defined length of Text Symbols.

For ex.

IF my text is 'Vijay' .. My defined length should not be 5. It should be greater that that.

To be precise in my requirement , I would like to have trailing spaces in my text symbols which i define. Is it possible. Please help....

Hi

You can open the text elements for edit, and <b>give the desired length</b> in the <b>second column</b>.

Then you will be able to have text/spaces as desired.

Hi,

U can't do it: the length of text symbols has to be the same for all language.

If they had different length for different language you would have some misalignments in the layout

If you don't have enough length..Logon in English and manually increase the length of the text-symbol.

Hi vijay,

In text symbols...just give your name "Vijay" and press enter and by default it takes 5 characters as default length. Then, Change the length in the second column as you want.

Hi,

You can very well increase the length of the text symbol.

You can specify the desired length in the maximum length column(last column) in the editable mode.
