Text editor problem during BDC Call transaction

Hi ,

When i am using BDC for T.code ME52 through Call transaction , i am getting the line editor in the item text of PR but i want Continuous or SAPscript editor as same when anyone using directly ME52 or ME52N . Can anyone help me out to solve my problem .

<b>By default It will takes line editor In ur Sysytem , that u have to change In ur BDC or Config.</b>

You can configure editor from long text in ME52.

In ME52, select goto -> text overview from menu. Then select any text and press <long text>. In the next screen, select goto -> configure editor from the menu.

You are correct but when you call ME52 through BDC it will not work and i.e my question how it can be possible in BDC .

This is user-specific setting so based on this setting your BDC will work.

If you are updating long text then ideally you should be using FM like EDIT_TEXT and it contains import parameter for text editor.

I'm having the same problem. I guess you don't understand the problem Sanjay Shah . When the user specific setting is in graphical mode the entry to a text object through a BIM makes it appear in inline editor modus (even though the setting remains on graphical modus when you check it when you run the BIM )
