can anyone tel me the procedure how to test a report?

Hi Meean,

could you be clear of what you mean by TESTING.

normally it means executing by pressing F8.

Press F8 and see the results are as per the specification....if not they degbug and check where is going wrong.

Normally functional consultant will give test condtions to test the report.

If you want to test the report give some postive and negative entries in your selection screen and press F8,As you develop the report you would able to know the result of the values tht u entered in the report.

Enter all values on the selection screen and create a variant called say TEST1 for a scenario.

Similarly for other scenarios - create further variants in testing.

Then use the variants and press F8.

There is no pre defined procedure to test a report.

Can u be clear on what report you want to test.

Enter the Tcode(or go to se38 enter the report name and press F8 or Execute button), u will get a selection a screen.

Enter the selection screen values and press execute or F8.

If the validations are successful , you may get the report output.
