Test tool for RFC/RPC

Hello ,

We generally use SOAP UI to test the connection to any webservice. Likewise, is there any tool available to test connection to an RFC/RPC?

Our requirement is SAP PI to External RFC server which does not have a test enviroment. Hence it would be better if we have a tool to check the connection to external RFC server. Please provide your ideas/suggestions.

I guess you are aware of the test possibilities in transaction SM59? Client and Server test programs are included in the Classical RFC SDK. There are also examples in the NetWeaver RFC SDK which can be used to test RFC connections. See the attached links for details.

SM59 is the best way forward. Are you looking for anything specific?
