Test Reduced IDocs

Hi ,

I have reduced the IDoc type MATMAS using transaction BD53 to RED_MATM message type. Now i want to execute and see how the System does not allow the other fields and segments removed to not be updated.

Please let me know how I could test this.

BD53 Helps, They say the fields which are not required would be filled with a '/' and would be ignored during process time whn it comes from 3rd party into the SAP system.

But have not been able to see the test of this yet.
