Hi friends,
can someone tell me how to write technical specifications for a report, conversion, interface and user exit.
Hi,
There is no standard Guidelines. It all depends on your Functional Specification.
Writing the Technical Specification vary from Company to Company.

Hi,
This is project specific thing.
Better you contact your project members to get format of technical specification.
In general,
1. report.
Tech spec should contain
> Business requirement
> Selection Screen
> Validations
> Processing logic
> Expected output
> Frequency, Runtime, dependencie etc...
2. Interface / Conversion
> Business requirement
> Name of interface
> Linked with ?
> Processing logic
> Structure of inbound/outbound file
> Execution detail
> Job detail, if any etc.
3. User Exit
> Business requirement
> Objects involved
> Project / Enhancement Name
> Logic
> Execution method
> validations/dependencies if any etc.
Hope this is a bit informative to you
