Tcode to assign Client to Logical System (except SCC4)

Hi all,

I have created logical system for sender and receiver in SALE Tocde.

Now my receiver client is not listed in SCC4 Tocde and I am not suppose to create it there also but I need to assigning my logical system to my receiver client.

I am told that there is another way to assign So can anyone tell me which is the other way to assigning logical system to client except SCC4.

Hi,

You did create a client in SCC4.

firstly,

1. did you create a logical system via BD54 and then did you assign that logical system to this newly created client ?

2. did you perform a local client copy to put data into this new client from an old or from a standard client like 000 ?

If you didn't perform above two things, then please do.

Hi Amruta,

I have already performed 1st step of BD54 and created Logical systems.

But now I am looking to assing same to clients.

Here in SCC4 I have my sender Client so I have assigned it but I am not having my Desination Client in my SCC4 list so I cant assign it over here.

My problem is from where I can assing my desination client to my logical system.

I cant understand your 2nd point of local client copy.

Can you explain me in detail...

Hi,

I might not be able it in words properly still iw ill try to-

->did you perform a local client copy to put data into this new client from an old or from a standard client like 000 ?

say -(Target client is 400 - on which u will be copying client 000)

by doing this,you will be able to see some data in this client and will be able to to select statements.

Maharshi,

Someone may have been thinking of creating and assigning the client this way. You can assign your client to the logical client by going through SALE, Basic Settings, Assign Logical Systems To Client.

As for the client copy, I don't think you are at that point yet, if i am reading your issue correctly, but if you are, I will try and explain that in detail for you. Hope this helps,

Closing the Thread as found the solution.

"As both clients are on diffrent servers so we need to create logical systems on both clients(with same name) and need to perform SM59 also at both ends."
