does anyone know which tables are behind the tcode sm21 or how to find out?

Go to SE49 (Available till 4.6 AFAIK)...Pass the transaction and it will give you all the tables behind it -;)

SM21 - Runtime error analysis. When the system encounters errors, you will immediately get an error. The same can be seen at SM21.

Go to t-code SE11. In the field "Database table" type TSL* followed by F4 or Display. You'll see the tabels behind SM21.
