Table Transport issue

Hi All,

I have an issue like transport custom table Development system to Production system with data.(means table structure and data also). I transported the custom table development system to production system, but it resulted  only structure. could you please help meany one on these issue.

Hi Chinnanagaseshi,

what kind of table is it? Normally I would only transport the content of customizing / configuration tables.

For such tables you can create a table maintenance dialog (SE11 -> open the table -> Utilities -> Table Maintenance Generator). The table maintenance dialog can automatically record the changes, i.e. the content of the customizing / configuration table, to a customizing transport request. When you import this to your production system, the content of the table should be there.

To activate the automatic recording choose the recording routine correspondingly via the path mentioned above.

(FAQ) As already written, those kind of "Customizing" tables are maintained via generated maintenance dialog, with coorect parameters a transport request will be generated automatically.

Else you can create a transport request with task and add manually an entry like R3TR TABU <tablename> then navigate to key and add a generic ket like * or client + *.
