Table TFAWC

I'm trying to read fields bmaske1 and bmaske2 (I need to know what data is contained in those fields) from table TFAWC. Both fields are raw datatypes. How do I do that?

Thanks in advance!

It is not advisable to read this table directly. This is just a string that tells the system as to which fields on which screens are optional, required, enabled, disabled etc. What do you want to do with this information?

Check this function module to get an idea.

I need to be able to read how our clients configured their systems for workorder, completion confirmation, etc. So I definitely need to know which screens are optional, required, enabled, disabled etc.

I tried the function module you suggested but I'm getting an error "No active nametab exists for *AFRUD".

Any suggestions on how to go about reading this table?

Looks like you are getting *AFRUD instead of AFRUD, so you are getting a error from the call to function module DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET.

Try to debug the program and see why that is happening. If not you can follow the same logic that is used in this function module.

What parameter values are you passing to this function module?

Hi,

Have you looked this FM <b>ISSR_OP_GET_FIELDSELECTION</b>? Perhaps it may help.
