table maintenance

hi experts,

table maintenance has been created but on sm30 an error is showing up

view or table can only be displayed and maintained with restrictions

Plz advise

go to the table and go to the tab delivary and maintainace --> give as display and maintainance allowed..

Hi,

Change the value of the field "Data Browser/Table View Maint." on the Delivery and Maintenance tab to 'Display/mainenance allowed'.

Hi sudheer,

Just check whether u had given the table maintenance allowed in the table attributes or not. if not, then need to check the check box for the same if it is 4.6c version or if it is >4.6c just select 'maintenance allowed' from the drop down list in the delivery and maintenance.

Hi,

Check for the Following.

Goto SE11-->TYPE UR TABLE NAME OR VIEW NAME .

GO IN CHANGE MODE.GOTO DELIVERY AND MAINTAINENCE MODE .

CHECK IN DATABROSWER LIST BOX HAVE U SELECTED

DISPLAY/MAINTAINENCE ALLOWED.

select the tab - Delivery and maintanace.

change the data Browser/ Table View Maintance - Dispaly/Maintance Allowed.

Save the setting and try the table maintance for the same.

Hi,

The cause you have given as displayed and maintained with restrictions in se11 while creating the table.

Now you can change this by going se11>delivery and maintanance tab> display/ maintainence allowed with restrictions
