Hi,
Please try this.
1) Go to SE11 and check table maintanance check box under attributes tab.
2) Go to menu Utilities -> Table Maintanance Generator ->
Create function group and assign it under function group input box. You can enter same as table name for function group. Also assign authorization group default &NC& .
3) Select standard recording routine radio in table table mainitainence generator to move table contents to quality and production by assigning it to request.
4) Select maintenance type as single step.
5) Maintainence screen as system generated numbers this dialog box appears when you click on create button.
6) Save and activate table.

One step, two step in Table Maintenance Generator
Single step: Only overview screen is created i.e. the Table Maintenance Program will have only one screen where you can add, delete or edit records.
Two step: Two screens namely the overview screen and Single screen are created. The user can see the key fields in the first screen and can further go on to edit further details.

Go to SE11. Enter Table name. Display. Utilities->Table Maintenance Generator

In the table maintenance generator enter an authorization group or enter &NC&.
Select one step or two step maintenance type and specify the screen number(s) which SAP can propose for you. Click Create and SAP will generate the corresponding screens and programs.

Hi Megan,
You can select maintenance type as single step.
Then click on find screen number button and select propose screen number(s).
System will gives screen number. Save and activate the table.

It says processing terminated and does not create the maintenance dialog

What is the error you got? What kind of fields are there in your table?

It simply says processing terminated in the message bar .. when i go to sm30 to look for maintenance dialog of the table it doesnt exist that means the maintenence dialog has not been created
