Table Maintenance using Excel

Folks,

I have created table maintenance on custom table. Now I want to use Excel while uploading data using transaction SM30.

So let me know - is it possible to use excel upload on SM30?

Simple technique is,

1.Upload excel sheet into initernal table.

2.Update the internal table data to ztable.

I dont think it is possible through SM30. How ever you can write a program to upload the excel to the table .This can be done through BDC .

yes, u can upload table maintance using exel . try to write upload using recording technique to reduce manuval errors.

are you need to upload xl file with out bdc program if that its not possible.

Hi,

It may not be possible to give data from excel directly in SM30. But you can do by:

System> Services> Fast Entry--> Recording

Record the transaction and then pocess the recording with the menu path Fast Entry --> Process

or by writing an appropriate BDC program.

hiii,

it is not possible to upload excel in sm30,it is possible only in bdc.

In sm30 (table maintenanace) we can upload multiple records of fields.
