Table maintenance problem regarding maintenance events

Hi, I have a table and maintenance screen in sm30.

I have written a form in table a maintenance event 01 which is "before saving data".

In this form I have two tables those are total and extract both of these two tables has the same structure and containing the field "LINE".

My problem is; in the LINE field, the data which i entered in table maintenance is kept comes as string.

I want to get the value as my database structure.

is there any function module to get the value in desired structure?

For example I will send the line and my table structure, it will give me the value in the format that I want.

Actually I wasn't able to use it because I dont know which parameters it takes, besides it is not written in the function module's import and export field.

If you have structure that you use maybe you can write here.

use this way...

Data : l_mara type mara

CALL FUNCTION 'HR_99S_COPY_STRUC1_STRUC2'
    EXPORTING
      p_struct1 = LINE             ---->  Flat string with data 
    IMPORTING
      p_struct2 = l_mara.

Use the move statement from the string field (line) to the structure. The structure will be filled with the proper data.
