Table maintenance generation

Hi,

I have created a table and a table maintenance for the same with quite a lot of validations.

Now I need to change the data element of one of the fields for changing the display name of the field in se16. Its type and length would remain the same.

Do i need to re-create the table maintenance once I do this change?

Hi,

I think U plz regenerate the Table Maintanance Generator. Bcose u r changing the field length it shd be adjustable. I should suggest you to regenerate at that time one pop window ask you that which one u want to adjust..like fields(rimary key field or normal),screen or adding new field...

Do this in future user never face any problem while he is maintianing the data...

Hi Nobin,

It is not required.

If you are receiving any activation errors then please follow the below steps :

1) Go to SE11--> In the table click on Extras --> click on Enhancement category

--> Select the Can be Enhanced (Deep ) and click on OK and check if it resolves your enhancement issue.

or 2) Go to SE11---> In the table >Click on Utilities> Click on Database Object --> Click on Database Utility

--->Click on Activate and Adjust Database.

This should resolve any issues.

If you receive any error messages then please let us know ....

Hi

I think so same problem i have faced before.... In table maintainance genarator once u hav enter ethe data and oif u want to change the field means it will affect alll....
