Table Maintanance Generator

Hi experts,

I have created the table with 10 fields in that first two are the key fields (mandt,matnr)

But If I created the Table maintance genreator after the If I go to the SM30 It wont

Displaying any fields in SM30.

In 4.6 c verstion

Any one please suggest me How can I get the fields in the SM30

Are you getting any error when you are accessing the table in SM30?

Hi:

Go in SE14 - delete, adjust and activate the table.

Now delete you table maintainace and go in se11 - utitlities- table maintainance generator and then do it.

Hi,

While maintaing the fields in the table, for each field it should be assigned to revelent data element.

if they are assigned to build in data types then you can edit the screen from within table maintenance, though you should set the comparison type to "Not Adjustable" since if you regenerate the table maintenance, you'll need to re-edit the screen. The best way is to reference data elements, so that you can see the all the fields in the SM30 transactoin .

Hi,

Could you please check the steps :

1. Provide Authorization Group &NC&

2. Provide Valid and Activated Function Group

3. Provide No of Screens

4. Seelct Radio button Standard Recording

and save it.

Hi Sam ,

Make sure that the table was activated without any errors . Also , the field should be assigned to a valid and activated data element.Make sure you assigned the correct authorization group and a valid and activated function group. You try to give the name of your table as the function group . it should work.

Hi,

Check the delivery class and also see that you have made the technical settings.And also make sure that you hv specified the Authorization group and function group corectly.And also create some new entries for that table. And then you try it SM30 transaction.Surely you will get the details.

while creating the table you might have done some mistake in technical settings check it once

try to activate and adjust database once again after creating the table maintenance generator surely you can see all fields in in SM30.

Hi sam,

Just regenerate your table maintainance generator and try it will work. Make sure that you have given the Authorization group , Screen no's and everything correctly.

hi sam,

first u check is ur table correctly activated if it is then delete the table maintenance generator and generate it again i think there is some prob in table maintainance generator

hi,

Try this

go to T-code se14 (utility for Database table)

select a table and give table name

Click Edit

Activate and adjust database with radio button save data

then go to se11

delete existing table maintance, activate a table

come out of the screen

then again go to se11

and now create a fresh table maintance.

your problem will be solved.

go to se11 and see that your table is activated with all the 10 fields ,and then check in SM30

Check TABLE MAINTENENCE IS ALLOWED option is selected in Table attributes if so activate the table and regerate the TMG by poviding the proper function group(NEW One) then check with SM30 u will TMG .

Hi Sam,

Check that you have maintained 'Field Label' in the data element.This will display the column heading texts.

Once you do it, regenerate the table maintenance.

Make sure that you activate the function group after you complete your generation process.

Try to maintain entry in the view.
