table maintainence

Hi all,

I have created a customized table with table maintenance.

I maintained the data in a table,

when i want to change that field for second field it is allowing to change but

after saving i am not able to new data where as my old data is only populating

in the table .

Will you please anybody let me know , how can i resolve this problem.

Can you explain in more clear way. Have you cheched maintainance allowed while creating table.

Yes , i created table with table maintainence and i updated the data through SM30 also. it is working fine.

Now my Boss wants to change the data in field which saved for first time.

Now when i come to SM30 to change the data .

But the new data is not updating in table.

Hi Madhavi,

The field which you want to change is a part of key field?

If yes then you can't change it. better delete that entry and create new with changed value.

Hi Madhavi,

Can you able to create a request for that to move the change(in table fields) to production.

You have to transport the change otherwise you won't get update dtable.

Hi,

First you need to create a maintainance dialog in SE54,

Then you need to maintain the table using SM30,

and then trasport it to production.

this is the procedure to maintain the table.
