Hi,

I have created a table in SE11 and while creating table maintainance generator by mistake i saved it in local instead of giving development class.

Now when I am creating it is givin a message that it has no transportable development class.

Now I want to re assign it to my own development class to which i have assigned the function group. How to do it??? It is very urgent.

Thanks&Regards,

Praveena.

another way , but the previous one is the right one, to copy your DB table to another DB table. then put your package. delete your first one. rename your Second Db table as the first.

Hi

To maintain Table u have to create maintainance view. For that Go to SE11 Click Table maintainance Generator. Here u give a function group name and select number of screens u want. Then create Table maintainance view.

Note; table should be of any type other than C and Table maintainance allowed should be ticked in Attributes.

Sree

Hi,

I can't change my development class as well as my package. Because already some repository objects assigned to that development class.

Best option is to delete the table maintenance and re-generate it

when you are in change mode in table maintenance screen

there is a delete button

use that and re-generate again

Hi Pravvena,

I would suggest you to simply delete Table Maintainance Generator and reacreate it in ur desired package. This would be an easier option.

Reward if useful.

Harsha

Hi Praveena,

You can go to your Local objects in TCode Se80 and right click on your object and select "OTHER Functions" and then "Change Package Assignment".

Now you can give the desired development class.

Kusum

I am still unable to do that, I tried all. As the maintainance is not generated , i can't either delete it or change it.

First of all i am unable to create it.

chk the table first , in its attributes u have clik Maintenance allowed , and put table in a change mode , then u can delete the existing maintainance generator.

I dont have the delete button on the tool bar, because the table maintainance is not created.

The thing is my table is saved in the required development class, but when saving the table maintainance by mistake i saved it as local.

For that reason the table maintainance is not generating.

the maintainance object description has no transportable development class.

And there is no delete option.

Best will b to creat another table Maintainance Generator , but be sure that while deleting the existing one the Table should have its attributes to Tables Maintenance allowed and it should be in a CHANGE MADE.Then only it will be successfull

First of all no table maintainance is generated, so there is no option for changing it in change mode.

And this messge is coming while creating it.
