Table log doesn't work

Hi experts,

I've set the table log for Z table in SE11. My problem is that the log is empty. I changed the table, several times, but the log is empty. The logging works in the system, because I tried it with other tables (e.g. HRP1000) and it works perfectly.

What is missing? Am I missed something?

Please help

Thanks

Hi,

some points.. may help..

After saving technical settings activate the table

after changes made to data then check in table DBTABPRT whether change is logged

if yes then check logs in transaction SCU3. Also for any authorization missing to display logs with su53

Regards,

Ravi.

Hi,

Check with basis team if table logging is active for Z table in the system you are trying.

Ganesh.

Hi,

As per SAP help,

Logging only takes place if parameter rec/client in the system profile is set correctly. Setting the flag on its own does not cause the table changes to be logged.

Please check this...

Thanks,

Chandra

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the answers!

I googled the topic, before I posted this question, so

-the rec/client is set for my mandant

-Of course I activated after I checked the log flag

But still, the table log doesn't work..

I will check this with our basis team.... and maybe it's a good idea to check my auth..

I'll update the post when I have further info.

Bye
