table-enhancement category

Hi,

IN ECC 6.0 when activate the table or structure i am geting the following warnings.

" 1.Enhancement category for table missing.

2. Enhancement category for include or subtype missing "

In both systems Enhancement category "not classified" (radio button).

But in 4.7ee there are no such warnings(This is upgradation from 4.7ee to ECC 6.0).

hi,

In the menu bar of SE11, you have the option called Enhancement category, give no enhancements there, the path is (utilities->Enhancement category)

path :- extras -> enhanced category -> enter

you have options there select ""cannot be enhanced

Hi,

Tried your solution on Last Friday, and it worked. Got activated without any errors.

But, today i again made a slight change to the structure, and trying to activate, setting the extras -> enhancement category as "Cannot be enhanced".

But, still am facing the same errors!

Please advice!

SAP Note # 788370 needs to be applied by the BASIS team for you.

Hello Suresh,

The message is only a warning and will not prevent activation. If you are appending or changing an include the Enhancement Category will be set to not classified. See EXTRAS->Enhancement Category. This is ok.

HI Suresh,

     To remove the warning message

Goto SE11 and proviode the table name and press on change button.

Now from the initial screen select EXTRAS Memu Option--->Enhancement Category.

A pop-up window will appear with different options.

Select any option and click on copy button.

Now try to activate the table.

You will not get any warnings.
