Table EDID2 is missing

Hello masters:

I have a problem with EDID2 table: It is not in the system, and I think it has never been there. So, I can't send IDOCs.

Does anybody know what I need to do? Is there any note?

Thank you.

Dear friends:

A dump makes me think I need this table. I know the EDID2 table is no longer used for newer idocs, however, in this case, the system get an execution error because of the table is missing in the system.

Don't ask for notes here. Go to OSS and search for them yourself. However, you haven't specified the dump type, your version, or given much other information at all. You can't expect to receive good help in that case. Your best bet is to enter the table name and dump type in the note search and see what comes up; if nothing, raise the issue with SAP.

Hi,

Idocs are stored in two tables

EDIDC Control record (IDoc)

EDID4 IDoc Data Records from 4.0 onwards

Use tcode WE02 / WE05 to see Idocs in the system.

Use tcode WE19 to create and send / process an Idoc.

Regards,

Jovito.
