table details

hi experts,

i need to know from where table " /bic/pzmaterial " gets filled.

i think its a master table, but no clue on how it updates..

also let me know how a master table updates.

Hi,

generally Table can be updated through any transaction/program, so its diff. to say which program

Goto Se11 transaction , give tabel name & check for WHERE USED LIST & check for program

i checked it , it is not master table or other table it may be a structure or may be a view.

do you know any fields of this or transaction code of the related screen from where when u create the data that takes the structure or views.

Hi,

normally master tables will be updated from some structures.the data we will enter through tcodes will be moved to some structures and they will be copied to master tables from some programs.

Yep,

its the master data table for characteristic ZMATERIAL.

The update is done via a infopackage. So you have to look in trx RSA1 for a infopackage with characteristic ZMATERIAL.

Hi all,

it has got five fields

/BIC/ZMATERIAL,/BIC/ZDIV are what im using in my program, .... table has got lot of data.... but some materials are missing,,,, i must know y?
