Table creation

Hi

When i try to create the Table after entering the field name and saved the data and activated it .

i like to make an entry through Utilites - Table contents but that field was marked as GREYONE .i wouldnt make up an entry

Please help me to solve this issue

Please make sure that you have selected the "Table maintenance Allowed" check box.

Hi ,

I am getting the following error message :

Table maintenance not allowed for table ZSDC

Message no. MO416

Diagnosis

Since the maintain flag is not set for this table in the Dictionary,

you cannot create, change or delete entries.

Procedure

If you want to maintain this table, you must allow table maintenance in the Dictionary.

Please help me to solve this issue

Hi,

In SE11, you will have check box to select as 'allow table maintenance generator'. check this and reactive the table.

Hi,

If you are using SAP version below 4.7 In the attribute Tab you find the Check Box for the Maintain entries. You need to check that to make the Create Entries option enable.

If you are using Ecc 5 and above you need to select Table maintenance Allowed in

Data Browser/Table View Maint of the Delivery and Maintenance tab

Hi,

U have created table maintainance for dat table?

Plz chk if not then create it.

To create table maintainance go to utilities->table maintainance Generator.

there u have give Authorization Group = &NC&.

function group same as z table name.

In maintainance u have two option 1 step or two step.

Go for 1 step.

then for screen no go click on button 'find sc number'.

it wil propose screen no for u.

and click on create button.

It wil create table maitainance for dat table and then by sm30 transaction u can maintain entries.
