Hi All,

I have a table which has fields with no Data elements but defined using the Built-In Type. How can i create field labels for these fields. The Description of the Fields needs to be seen when using SM30.

Thanks in advance..!

If you want to have field labels, you must create a data element for this field. Enter the name of your "Z" data element on that line and double click it. System will ask if you want to create it, say yes.

Thanks Rich,

I modified my tables to contain Data Elements.

I still have the problem in the sense that, when the table is maintained through SM30, i can only see the Field labels for the Key fields and not the normal fields. Let me know what might be the reason for that.

Thanks again..!

Hi,

Delete the table maintenance and re-create once again.
