Table control size is not changed. why?

I have created a maintenance view and generated table maintenance view.

Now, from the program anme and screen number , I have changed the table control size in the layout.

From SM30, i found good layout but when i regenerate same view and again go to SM30, it sets initial view which i dont want.

Why this is happening and whts the solution for it?

is ther any user_exit available to keep my changed settings?

Please advice me !!

first of all create the maintenance view.

After that there should not be any change in Maintenance View.

After finalizing the Maintenance view go to the screen layout and change the layout according to your requirement.

Because whenever you generate new maintenance previous changes will be vanished, So first make the maintenance view final and then change the layout...

dont regenerate it. just save and activate its screen and the view....
