hi experts,
i m little confused about using Table Control in BDC,
at which stage we need Table Control an why do we need it?
Could anybody throw the light on COMPLETE procedure for the same.
( i got the respective code from sap-img but i m not getting it )

suppose we have a xd01 tcode for customer.
in this each customer contains there own fields after that customer contains bank transactions. so at that time how many transactions for each customer maintain in some range of dates at that time there is an iteration will occurs. at that time we use table control.
It is looks like an EXCEL sheet.
we r uploading data into this by using the "concatenate" and "space".

hi Subodh
A Table Control is used in any screen where we have multiple entries to be maintained. for example you have multiple partners assigned toa Customer so we maintain a Table Control in the Partners tab of Customer master.
When you use the Table Control in a BDC program, remember thet the field name of a particular column remains same in every row. only thing that changes is the number attached to the fieldname at the end.
table-field(01) - First row of the Table Control
table-field(02) - second row of the Table Control ....
so tablecontrol-name(n) refers to NAME in the Nth Row of the Table Control.
I hope this has cleared few doubts, let me know if you need any further explaination.

for every loop run I will maintaina a counter which will tell me the position in the table control (Row Number)

so in every loop run one partner is added to the table control and in every loop the entries are entered in a new row..

Hi,
if you are doing recording then give information in fist row of table control then below the table control you have the option like "create item" + symbol icon. Press that. Then 1st row of table control will go up and second row of table control will come in the position of first row. Here also give data then save or do filling the next data and save. Once you get the code for recording, for above process (enter the data in table control) keep this logic in loop. It will work.

if you only want to determine the row of the table control. SY´-SUBRC allows you to check if the cursor is placed in a row of a table control.
u need to comment the performs of table control fields and write ur own perform statements. And u have to declare the table control fields as separate internal tables.
