Syntax error for custom infotype in screen 2000

Hi

I have created a custom infotype using transaction PM01.  The structures P9041, PA9041 and PS9041 have all been checked and are active.  When I generated the objects in PM01 I tested in PA30 and the basic infotype could be created.  However, when I have gone to screen 2000 and labelled the fields and done a syntax check I am getting an error 'Syntax error for program MP904100, screen 2000'. Screen 2000 input/output field P9041-TEXT3 not defined.  When I delete this field it just finds the next field and errors.  I now get an abap dump when I try to create the infotype in PA30 'Syntax or generation error in a  screen'. 

I have checked SAP notes 563145 and 1937688.  I have 49 fields which have a combined total of 318 characters.

I would very much appreciate if anyone can offer advice on this issue.

Thank you I managed to resolve.  As you state I had not defined the text field.  I had to create a data element.
