Sy-CALLD function in 2005

hai experts,

i want to know the difference between 46C and enterprise/2005 with respect to SY-CALLD function.

my friend says in new 2005 system SY-CALLD now retains original value in call sequence.

what is mean by that. Could you please explain me with explain in 46C and 2005 version.

Hi,

The value of Sy-CALLD (ABAP program, ABAP program call mode)is same in both 4.6 and 4.7 E .

Its a char value of length 1.

I have checked it in both the systems.

hai Tanveer,

It seems it works differently with SUBMIT without return and SUBMIT with return.

any ideas.
