i am doing a submit as follows using a variant then was created in the standard program i am submitting.

       SUBMIT  rm07ii39  USING SELECTION-SET 'xxxx'
                                    EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY.

Does submit have sy-subrc check if yeas please advise what situation this can occur.

And i also need to retreive the error message.

Note the program will be running in background and i want the message to appear in my job log

Hi

Its better if you press F1 on SUBMIT and check all possible values and reasons.
