Our business scenario is such that quotations created in CRM get replicated to ERP. This obviously involves data transfer between the two systems through queues.
Now the problem is that the replication that is supposed to happen, as mentioned above, is not happening. I can see a huge number of queues that are waiting both in transactions SMQ1 and SMQ2 in the CRM system. Some of these queues associated with my sales documents and these are in "SYSFAIL" status.
What I am trying to understand is whether my documents' queues are stuck up because of the other innumerous stuck up queues. How can I find this out?
Also, if you have links to some useful documentation on queue handling, that will be of much help.
Thank you. Will be glad to give points to useful answers.

Queue are processed by dialouge workprocess , dialouge workprocess has a timeout limit so the wp might have got killed due to that queue would have got stuck so drill down to the queue , you can see an activate button , activate it . It will get processed. If not check whether your queue's are registered.
Tcode :
SMQR Registration of Inbound Queue
SMQS Registration of Destinations
If not register it and try processing it again. Pls lets us know the outcome.

Hi Karthik,
I activated queue R3AD_SAL_ERR, which was in SYSFAIL status. As soon as I did that, it's status changed to "RUNNING" and the moment I refreshed the queue list, it again came as SYSFAIL.

if you have a problem and you save your LUW
SMQ2 -> queue -> Edit -> save LUW
you are taking that luw from the queue. Then process other's which are struck there.
Did you check your receiving system is not down ??
once you repair everything you can
always come back to this LUW:
SMQ3 (over there you'll find your saved LUWs)
