Can i know the steps for creating the archive file in data archiving.

Hi,

The IT scenario variant data archiving is available in two different technology variations: ADK-based Data Archiving and XML-based Data Archiving.

· ADK-based Data Archiving

This technology is purely ABAP-based. At the time of archiving, you must make several basis Customizing and other Customizing settings. For more information on Customizing for ADK-based archiving see Introduction to Data Archiving and Customizing.

· XML-based Data Archiving

This technology is available for ABAP applications that employ XML archiving objects and for JAVA applications that use archiving sets to archive data in the XML format. For each technology option different configuration steps have to be performed to set up the system for data archiving. These steps are described separately for each option:
