Can we use the standard text in S010 for storing only text or we can values or variables also.I want to use standard text in smartform.

No you cannot you it for storing values or variables.

Its a standard text, how can you store values in it.

Transaction SO10 is used for storing big texts. To save variables or constants create your own table

I want to use concatenate standard text and values in smartforms .How do we do it.Benefit of standard text is we have translation into other languages.

in your SF, create a code element,

here use FM READ TEXT to read the data to some string table. and concatenate you value to this table..

loop at this table.. and display it..work around this logic

@OP:

It is very much possible to add a variable to a standard text. But you have to be sure the variable name in the SO10 text & the SmartForm is same. E.g., define the SO10 text as:

The total Vendor Balance: &V_VEND_BAL&

where V_VEND_BAL = Variable for Vendor Balance.

Anyways as a suggestion you can also try creating Text Modules which can be translated using SE63.
