Hi,

I need to add fields in a standard table. I am using an append structure to add theese fields, the problem is that I need that fields to be marked with the flag Initial Value. I don't know how to mark this flag in the fields of append structure.

Regards.

Hi Bernat,

in SE11 open your APPEND structure in EDIT mode. Then choose in Menu:

Extras -> DB-Attributes -> Initialization Flag on/off.

Regards,

Klaus

Hi Bernat,

By default the fields will contain initial values based on the type of the field. Can you elaborate more on your requirement?

Hi Bernat,

If you need to add "fields to be marked with the flag Initial Value".

when you add component during append structure  that time you can set your flag initial value field in the append structure. this will be refelected teh same in teh table.

Is there a reason you don't want some null vallues in the table, nevertheless read 1907856 - Fields do not have NOT NULL constraint in SAP Tables.

Call SE11 on the append structure and in the menu Extras : DB attributes, Initialization Flag On/Off. Now you can check the initial value box in the append structure.

Raymond
