SQVI possible?

Hi All,

I am trying to find out a list of VBELN/POSNR entries which are available in VBAP but not available in a certain table.

Is this possible through SQVI? Any other way possible other than writing a report?

Check this example:

VBAP has:

VBELN POSNR

100 10

100 20

200 10

The second table, say, ZXYZ has:

VBELN POSNR

100 10

200 10

The final result should only return:

100 10

200 10

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tabraiz

Shouldn't Joining ZXYZ (first) and VBAP solve your problem ?

This will only return the VBELN/POSNR entries present in both anyway.

Well, that's what your example shows.

Apologies, it should have been like this:

VBAP has:

VBELN POSNR

100 10

100 20

200 10

The second table, say, ZXYZ has:

VBELN POSNR

100 10

200 10

The final result should only return:

100 20

You want relative compliment of one table with the other, which is not possible with SQVI. You would need coding for this.

If you are just trying to find out the records - you can Create SQVI with VBAP (first) and ZXYZ Join on both VBENL and POSNR with "Left Outer Join" ( Right click on the link to change it ) and in the output Include VBELN POSNR from both the tables ..( VBELN, POSNR , VBELN, POSNR ) and in the output filter the VBELN ( of ZXYZ ) to be blank. You will get the records which are only in VBAP and not in ZXYZ.
